It took three weeks but I got approval to continue with my PTSD counselor it was rough not having that support. This has been a rough week I have been short of breath for months and so pulled back from the brink of depression  only to be so tired I am surprised I have even left the bed.

Times are tough when "Happy Hour" is your nap.
My mind not only wanders, sometimes it leaves completely!

Gotcha in my prayers, brother.  That exhaustion is a killer... just sucks the life out of every day.  I hear you... hoping it's a very short term thing.  :bighug:

Thanks for the support guys I will try to keep you updated my laptop display bit the dust and it was the only display that worked well with my vertigo so less computer time it is.

Robby

Do you know what's wrong with the display? Could it be a loose connection, or is it something more severe? I'm assuming you've checked it out.

Im thinking it is the ribbon as the display went to white while I was using it and when I wiggled the screen it came back on for a bit but then went perma white

That would be the data cable... most likely, it has come loose at the motherboard end.  I'm thinking that it's not at the monitor end as the backlight cable is still connected (hence the white light).  Get me the details and I'll find you the repair manual.  Laptops aren't as difficult as all that.  If it's not disconnected, I can source a replacement.  I'd be more than glad to give you a hand.  I just finished my gazillionth laptop repair just last week so I'm fresh.   :budy:

looney, just double check how the cable unplugs. I've destroyed more than one cable because I did not double check the connection, and pulled the wrong way.
