This past year we as vets have been granted online BX privileges. Just go to Army/ Air Force or Navy / Marine exchange online & register.

I thought that was great, but now as the 1st of the year we get to physically walk into an BX or Commisary and shop.

We are talking big savings as all items are not taxed. And the armed forces always negotiates great prices which is then passed on to us.

Just make sure you have the updated VA ID.

You can shop online @ https://www.shopmyexchange.com/?et_cid=1728675&et_rid=182037155

Have your DD214 handy when you register.

That's great, I always like seeing vets get the treatment they deserve. I've been in an Army PX one time, and found a $1200 laptop for like $250, a $150 leather jacket for like $50. There are some good deals there.

I always offer my hand and my appreciation to vets, they truly are the best people in the world, they volunteer for that shit, if they don't deserve our praise I don't know who does.

:clapping:  Nice to see your nations forces taking care of their own!  Not sure what the status for our Canadian brethren is or if we even have a Base Exchange available to them.  I sure hope so... the discounts must be pretty good!

The question looms, what year was that?
Maybe 1976. I think..i remember the price clearly yet the year is fuzzy. He was driving his folks car,Shit, that must put it closer to 72!

When I was in the service, a pack of smokes was .50 cents. That was in 1978.
