I guess everyone is busy with the holidays.

I can't believe Christmas is this Sunday. It is so depressing

around here. We do Nothing for Christmas, haven't for years.

No one wants to watch any Christmas movies. The real ones,

not the ones about Santa Claus.

I would like to get well enough to go to church. Also have to figure out how to get there. I can't drive.

I really feel bad for my son. I have some good memories of Christmas with my MOM.

My son is not going to have those special memories. This is just another weekend around here.

Yeah... there was a lot of that around here. Talked to my brother-in-law last night 'cause he was so totally bummed this last month... a lot of stuff going wrong in his extended family that he can't do anything to change... he said something  that stuck with me... kinda sounded Dr. Seuss-ish at first but the more I thought about it, the better it sounded...

It doesn't matter how Christmassy we feel or if there is joy in our lives... Christmas comes. It doesn't matter if we're depressed or hurting... Christmas comes. It doesn't matter if we feel whole or not... Christmas comes.

Jesus came into our chaos, our insecurity, our pain and hopelessness. He came at just the right time and each Christmas, we're reminded that Jesus came, regardless of how messed up our lives or how close we feel to Him or how ready we were for His coming. At just the right time, while we were still sinners, Jesus died for the ungodly. He came into our brief candle in a hurricane of a situation and lived a life full of the sorrow and pain we feel every day. May Jesus be reborn in your heart this Christmas. :bighug:
Where God leads, His hand always provides
...so keep Calm and code on....

My friend lost his wife to suicide a while ago and he has been really struggling with depression while trying to be strong for their kids. A few of us have let him know the strength we see as well let him know we are here if needed for anything. My dear Fibrofriends I know we all battle demons and mental health due to ignorance by so many but know we are never alone. That gentle breeze that lifts you the little birds who drop by for a visit the smile from a kind person they are all sent to remind you there those that care for you...
