Times are tough when "Happy Hour" is your nap.
My mind not only wanders, sometimes it leaves completely!

Interesting article I have been trying to find remote work myself but it isn't easy

When I was struggling through life after chemical intolerance left me unable to work from the office, I found working from home was very freeing. I actually had a brain again for the most part and I was able to work the hours required by shifting my schedule as my body would allow me to work. The bad side to this was that I felt like I was constantly working or sleeping. There really was no point where I was able to recouperate. It took another 2 years on work-from-home before my body finally told me how bad things were and it used capital letters this time so I wouldn't miss it.

After regaining consciousness and finding out that fibro was now part of my issues, I only lasted anothe 6 months working from home before my output levels were so low that my boss finally asked me to go on short term disability. Since then, anything I do is pretty much "work from home" though it's all piecemeal and low pay. Because of the physical and cognitive deficits, taking on regular work is just what the comic shows... but what if I can't work regular hours even part time???  What if they can't accomodate me?? What if I can't meet deadlines? What if I'm just left here at home doing nothing and waiting for things to get worse...

Yup... disability just sucks!
