Hows it going everyone

I haven't posted here in a while.

I have been taking 1000 mgs of Acetyl L-Carnitine for a few weeks now and have gotten amazing results.

I was wondering if anyone else has tried this and if so what kind of results did you get.

I have much less pain, less headaches, tons of energy and better mental clarity to name a few improvements.

I hope it lasts.

Welcome home brother!!  Missed you.  :budy:

That isn't something I have tried.  Sounds like a supplement.. haven't heard of it before.  Time to go digging through the vitamin files again.  Glad to hear you are having good results with it.  Keep us in the loop on it... I'd be interested to see the results.

Thanks Foxgrove

Yeah, If you havent tried it yet it may be worth a try.

I hear it also works for fatigue associated with MS too.

Do you still listen to the blues?

I have been fascinated with Reverend Gary Davis lately.

What a talented man he was.

fibrofool how long till you saw benefits from the Acetyl-L-Carnitine?

I started with 500 mg A-L-C, Wobenzym N 3 pills on an empty stomach, and Vitamin D3 200 IU. I took the dosage about noon today its about 8:30 and this IS the best I have felt in a long time.

Thanks again for the info.. and oh you know me so well.. yes, I was born with music in my ears and Jazz is one of my very favorites!!  Thank you so much for these marvelous pics!!!  I've been doing a lot of listening to Sheryl Crow and Otis Redding of late and marveling at their mind blowing talent.  It sure is nice to hear some of the earlier blues pics and remember where it all came from.  So smooth!!!! :clapping:

Good for you guys that Acetyl-L-Carnitine is helping you. We have spend some many thousands of dollars of herbal type medication that I am not 100% sure what I have tried and what I have not tried. All I know is I can NOT mix any herbal type stuff with the cocktail of meds I am on right now.

My Doctor and Pharmacist both warned me about that.

Let us know how you guys are felling after taking the product for 6 months. If at 6 months you are still feeling so much better, well then you may be on to something?

Rockposer

Ok that's something else I need to look into, thanks for the info.

Talking of Blues as well, my rock & blues show can now also be heard on KCOR Kansas City Online Radio if you've got 30 minutes of your life to waste  :laughbounce2:

Something to keep in mind when dealing with vitamins or any type of health supplemental, the ingredients are not regulated in the US or any governmental agencies. Make sure that any supplement is purchased by a verified and trusted location.

Hi guys

Sorry for the delay in posting back.

I noticed benefits almost immediately.

I'm still taking 500 mg twice a day and 3 times a day when I'm not doing well.

If you have trouble sleeping try to take your doses earlier in the day.

For the first week I took it I was pulling all nighters but this soon came back to bite me. Damn You Fibro!

One thing of note about this supplement is that it is not an herb it is an amino acid found naturally in the body.

It can cause stomach problems though so I also take Fiber supplements and digestive enzymes and I have been o.k. so far.

Here is a link with more info on the supplement.

Here is a link for the cheapest price I could find for good quality Acetyl L-Carnitine in bulk.

If you really want an extra boost you can take 5 grams of D-Ribose powder 3 times a day also. I dump my D-Ribose powder in spring water and drink it throughout the day.

And if you want to boost even further you could add high dose B12 sublingual lozenges 1 or 2 a day.

Rockposer is your show available on the internet?

Foxgrove I love Sheryl and Otis. She was great on the Eric Clapton crossroads guitar festival that they ran on PBS recently.
Joe Bonamassa was also great on that.

Take it easy guys

OMG fibroguy, thanks for the bulk link. I payed way too much but I wanted to try it first and I am much better. I also found Wobenzym N. This really helps with the body aches and fog.
