We all know what the hot flashes, and sweats are like, I saw a neat gadget today that some of us might want to look into, I know I am, but wanted to go ahead and share now.

cool looking gadget.

I've been running cold water over my wrists for years to help with hay fever. I found as a teen, when my allergies were at there worst, if I could cool myself down, the allergic reactions would calm down a little. The easiest way was to run cold water over my forearms.

Might have to experiment with fibro flare ups too.

Thanks for posting it.
I thought of a really witty signature, but it got lost in the fog...

Very cool gadget.. found out it runs for around $3,000 USD!!  BUT... lots of folks have been making their own versions.  Here is one of the better Instructionals: http://www.instructables.com/id/CoreControl-DIY/ and it's upgraded 2nd version: http://diybodyheatextractor.mckeemaker.com/.

Not sure how I'd do with grabbing something that's 11°C (52°F) but I guess it wouldn't be nearly as bad as grabbing ice cubes which hurt like they're on fire!  From the sounds of it, it's cold but your hand never really GETS cold because it's constantly being fed warm blood.  Weird huh!

I have to be careful running my hands under the tap here as cold water comes out of the pipes at around 4-5°C (39-41°F) which is wicked cold on a warm day... scratch that... it's wicked cold every day unless you're frostbitten... then it feels like someone's melting your skin off with a blowtorch!!  :lmao:  Yeah.. personal experience.. crazy Canucks. :rotfl:  I'll have to try forearms instead of hands.  I would guess they're not as sensitive to cold.  Thanks for the ideas guys. :budy:
Where God leads, His hand always provides
...so keep Calm and code on....
