ronr: Discord is new to most of us but there is a GREAT DEAL of privacy there.  You need to be invited to even see our page.  Download of the app is easy and there are plenty of directions

Robby

This is a video about a man that lost both arms and both legs to an illness, now he is 7 month's post double arm transplant. The story itself is worth watching, but he made a couple of statements that resonated with me. First he said his first reaction was to say that he realized he had a new normal, and that would not change, so he "DECIDED" (read that determined) that he would get used to it, and learn how to live and operate within the new rules. That is exactly what I have been trying to say for the last 13 years, I just couldn't put the words together.

He also talked about after the amputation, he forgot what things were like, what it felt like to have water run over his hands in the sink. Like how we don't remember what it's like to go through a day without fibro pains.

Anyway what's your thoughts
