Hey everyone I have been mostly absent from the internet for the last while. I have checked in but rarely post right now as work has consumed every last bit of energy I have. I unfortunately have to commute for at least five more weeks and then hopefully will be working locally. My days are a whirlwind right now as on average I work with three agencies a day and not always in the same building.. I am burnt right out and sick all the time so much so I have really stopped all my extra curricular stuff other than keeping the fire dept training going. (Using two guys to do the grunt stuff) All that to say I miss you all!   :bighug:

Thanks for letting us know what is going on.  Thought it might be something like that with all the fires and dry country.  Just keep yourself safe and also keep us informed.  Miss ya.    :pals:

Stay safe.  And thank you for letting us know.

While you are frying, we are about to get an Arctic Blast.  Snow has started falling and looks like it will for the next 5 - 7 days.

Sending you hugs,

Thanks for checking in, brother!  :budy:  I've missed your smile 'round here.  Good to hear things are continuing and haven't broken down in the trying.  Continuing to pray for you... I know this has to be sheer torture right now but hang in there, only a few more weeks to go and it'll be all over.  :bighug:

Father, hold Looneylane close and keep him safe.  Give him the energy he needs to be able to concentrate and learn well.  To you go all the glory, Lord.  Be our goal and our guide.

It is crazy I have had five job offers while doing this training but 4 are away from home one of which is for the government so decent pay and benefits but not a job I want. The one close isn't full time or permanent.  : :( : I know the right opportunity will come I have plans to take it slow for a bit after these five weeks are up to recoup and maybe the part time is the best option to start. The agency I am working for has offered me part time as well with the plan to hire me full time where I live as soon as possible. They are great people and very supportive and they know about my chronic pain and it isn't an issue,

Your right it will come along, taking some time is probably the wisest decision

:great:  I love it when you write 'cause your plans always seem to be smarter than anything I could ever add to the conversation!!  Taking some time is a beautiful decision!  Rest and lean into His time table... :bighug:

Very very very glad that you've got the start of an offer with folks who seem to respect you... something I always find comforting.  For them to be open and willing to discuss and accommodate what you need right off the hop is just fabulous.  I know that it "should" be an automatic thing but it's still not... and in Canada it's still not written in stone, so it's a breath of fresh air to know that it's not going to be a thorn for you.  Sounds like people I'd love to work with!!!  :great: :clapping:  :budy:

Spent my day in the hospital having a ct scan and sonogram. The Ct was for my neck to see if I need more surgery and the sonogram was to see if I had damaged my shoulder. I'm wiped right out but have to go to work in the morning so keep e in your prayers.

:budy: Prayers most certainly continuing!!  How did it go??

Scans went well so that means scar tissue on my spinal cord which is bad news but not as bad as having to have them router out the bones in my neck. My doc is concerned about the fact they have me on tramacet for pain right now but there isn't much choice until the neurologist can see me and possibly do nerve blocks I will try to keep you updated! two and a half weeks and I will be done my BSW!

countryboy

Here's hoping that the next couple of weeks goes quickly and you can finish your BSW.  Right now I can't remember what the BSW stands for but get it over with.   :clapping:
