Win 7 Pro - x64

Microsoft NET framework has not been able to update for quite some time.  No problem until just now when I want to install something new. Checking on the web I see all sorts of fixes that don't necessarily work even from the microsoft web site.  I'v tried multiple things and it's lead to deleting all references to the NET framework before install the latest version but I am hesitant to do that.

Does anyone have any experience with this issue???

I checked around and the only thing I come up with is you have turn something on on your computer...
I'm not sure what it means but I hope it helps.

Don't know if it's the same problem (cause) or not, but I had the unable to update W10 issue. After trying several things that was supposed to work the only thing I found that did work was to download a newer version install disk, and do an in-place upgrade. Hopefully you won't have to do go to that trouble.

It works on the laptop that is win 7 premium.  I remember I did have an issue with getting that update to work on it and of course it was long enough ago to not remember what I did for it.
