 Got out of bed for maybe an hour today, but then had to go right back. Feels like the specter of death itself decided to move into my spine and started reconstruction without a permit. To top it off my bowels are going insane and I can't keep any food down. Hoping this subsides soon, but it doesn't seem likely

That sounds mighty weird.
Back and bowel are not a good pair to deal with at the same time.
Bad ju ju.
To me it sounds like one of those passing things.
May take a while but you'll move on to some other gawd awful pain.
Hang in there. Praying you get better soon.

I deal with the back/bowel thing quite often, it ain't fun. It's been a while since I had pain that bad, but I have and will probably again. I wish I knew what to tell you that might work but there ain't much except maybe a heating pad, although the heat can make the bowel worse.

Thanks for the well wishes guys, it finally subsided this morning, longest two weeks I've had in a while
