So... it's been an interesting month or two...

First off, as I'm near bursting to let y'all know, I'm a grampa!!!  Sweet little Sonia Margaret Audy was born July 6th, 2017 at 1:59 AM at 8 lbs 1 oz and 21.5 inches long.  She is absolutely perfect... the most camera tolerant child I've ever met, and she's very active with eyes wide open and hands and feet just a-goin' all the time she's awake.  It's so cute!  As grampa, I have the privilege of holding her in any room we happen to share... and it's been glorious!

Here's one of her best pics...

Now, just so you understand how interesting the month itself was, you have to add in the fact that our refrigerator blew it's compressor (new $900 fridge), our washing machine destroyed it's drum and the seal ($600 in parts and a whole lot of figuring things out), our vehicle A/C quit ($130 fix), the vents in our vehicle only blow on the windshield (another $150 in parts and I still have to get in there and replace two actuators), and that cute little bundle of joy above took my daughter TWO WEEKS of labor to be delivered and then shredded her mom on the way out!  100+ stitches!!!  Seriously!!!  :insane:

Then there was helping my friend decontaminate her van so she has somewhere to live... I'm baked folks!!!  Stick a fork in me, I'm done.     an give up

You've had one of our months. But, right now any one of those things would kill us financially.

CONGRATS! again.

I know the feeling of being baked, hopefully you'll recover quickly.

I will put you in the trunk, and help people look for you, DON'T TEST ME.

Ok, thanks for your up date on you,   how about grandma?  I'll bet she is in 7th heaven.  Those little bundles of joy sure can wear you out.   But then it is all worth it.    :clapping:  Wave Crowd an cheerleader :cheerleader:

I'll bet her mom and dad are a little proud too.

 :clapping: congratulations Paul!
That's fantastic news.
Now the fun begins.

Thanks all... yup, gramma's loving it even though she's got a cold right now and can't get to the little one... she refuses to pass it on at anyone so I'm lacking in kisses but that'll change soon enough. ;)

As far as being ruined financially... one step we haven't gone through right now is the bank calling with the bad news.  Till that happens, we're depending on God's provision and even if it does happen, we know He'll take care of us and we'll be learning new ways to exercise our patience and faith. Whatever happens, God is good... praise the Lord!  ;)
