Times are tough when "Happy Hour" is your nap.
My mind not only wanders, sometimes it leaves completely!

Thanks for finding this, brother.  We sure are feeling this today.  Kinda feels like Memphis in July, you can't really breathe the air, it's more like consuming it.  Heavy on the body, though!

Fox, you've been in Memphis? If so you were only about 100 miles from my house, and then again I may have lived in Memphis at the time you were there. I would have given you a room for the night had I known.

Well I was in Memphis a couple of times and based out of Tupelo for a month in about 1800 it feels like.

Way way back in the late 80s.  Cross country jaunt from Texas (college) to Florida (vacation).  Personally, the downpour we had in Alabama was worse (had to huddle down just to breathe) but yeah, what huge humidity.

Well Damn ron, what year was it that you were in Tupelo and Memphis. I'm very interested now. What were you doing at the time. What did you think of Tupelo, I know it wasn't much, it has never been much but it's home. Did you go to the Elvis Presley birth house while you were here? I was forced to take my mother in law, I hated it, but I hate Elvis. Did you make it to Graceland while you were in Memphis? Did you see the Mississippi River bridge lit up at nite? I wish I had known you at the time, I would have shown you around, but you may not have wanted to go to some of what I considered to be sights worth seeing.

I wish I had known you at the time, I would have shown you the sights. It's weird that you and ron have both been through this area and we completely missed each other.

I got off the plane in Nashville and thought I was suffocating! Terrible. How do people  live in that?

Well... I guess the acclimate to it.  Never thought living in Texas would affect how the weather felt once I returned to Canada but it took almost a decade for me not to be absolutely freezing every winter.  Of course, winters around here do tend to be a wee bit brisk. ;)

I survived a couple of months in the jungles of Indonesia and Malaysia back in the late 80s (missions trip) so I guess we can pretty much acclimate to anything... well, anything but a Mississippi rain!  I have this thing about not being able to breathe and all.  :insane:

the more I think about it, the more I wish there was some way of going back in time and following each of us for a while, after watching several movies I have to wonder if somehow we (me , ron, and fox) managed to run into each other somewhere along the way. We may have actually met and don't know it. Wouldn't that be weird to know.

You never know... I might have been that rowdy guy in the wild t-shirt that made you wonder what was wrong with people these days.  :lmao: :rotfl:

How humidity affects FiBro. I've never noticed a link to the weather. But when my Firo is kicking, I don't notice much about anything.  :sadhug:
