Title: Sizzling sensation and sound in neck
Post by: SleeprLegend on May 07, 2014, 10:00:41 PM
I have asked doctors for years what could be causing a sizzling sensation and sound in my neck where the spine meets the base of the skull.  Even the doctor who diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia could not give me any idea of why this happens.  Am I alone in this experience?  It is more common when I am hungry.

I get that but  have a neck fusion and titanium plate? The hungry part I dont get though lol. Sounds to me like nerve compression but you would need an MRI done.... :insane:

The sizzling....sound/sensation I get quite often, but it usually happens after I have been sitting for quite a while and haven't moved around very much.  The hunger thing I also get, but not when the neck creaks and cracks.   ;)

I'm glad to know I'm not alone.
